About DAI
Development Associates of Bonita Springs, Inc. (DAI) was founded in 1991. DAI is a full-service, state licensed and insured general contracting and development firm.
The principal of DAI is Charles F. Maurer, Jr., a Massachusetts native who moved his entire business to Naples in 1981 when it was still a quaint fishing village.
Initially known as Maurer Construction Company, the company focused on development and general contracting in Bonita Springs when it first relocated to Southwest Florida. However, as opportunities to diversify presented themselves, the general contracting firm soon grew to include a variety of divisions.
In 1991, the company was renamed Development Associates to reflect its expanded services.
With more than 1,000 acres and 500,000 square feet designed, built and/or managed, Development Associates is a major force in Bonita Springs and Southwest Florida.
